Pathway Lending, the largest non-depository Community Development Financial Institution in Tennessee, proudly works with partners like the Perry County Chamber of Commerce to deliver learning programs to help entrepreneurs throughout the state start or grow businesses.
The Perry County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism, in partnership with the Perry County Mayor's Office, secured a $10,000 Rural Business Development Grant through the US Department of Agriculture – Tennessee Rural Development. With the proceeds, the Perry County Chamber developed the Rural Embark Cohort with Pathway Lending and offers it at no cost to participating Perry County small businesses and entrepreneurs.
Perry County is a member of the South Central Opportunities: Promoting Entrepreneurs (SCOPE) Network led by the South Central Tennessee Development District and jones-bridget consulting group through support from USDA Rural Development and the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development – Rural Development Division.

What does it cost?
With a one-time registration fee of $50 reimbursed to registrants upon completion of the cohort, small businesses and entrepreneurs who reside in Perry County can complete the Embark Cohort at no cost thanks to support from US Department of Agriculture - Tennessee Rural Development.
